Principal
The Principal plays a pivotal role in the various activities
of the College. Besides being an adept administrator he
controls academic activities as well. He acts as a bridge
between the Management, Staff and Students in all aspects.
He takes immense pains to realize the aims and destinations
of the institution harnessing the potential of students,
capitalizing the available infrastructure. Tapping all possible
resources the Principal streamlines all the functions of
the College moving hand in hand with the University, the
Government and the Management in addition to the teaching
and non- teaching staff for good prospects of the institution.
Financial matters will be discussed in the meetings of the
Governing Board of the College Trust in which the Principal
and a member elected from the teaching faculty are members.
Staff Council
The Staff Council comprises the Principal, HOD’s
and three elected members from the faculty. The Staff Council
takes the important decisions regarding the academic matters
of the College.
Heads of Departments
Each Department works under the respective Head of the
Department, appointed by the manager on seniority basis.
The H.O.D. is responsible for Department Time Table, work
allocation among the teachers of the Department, review
of work done by teachers, conduct of test papers, submission
of various reports to the Principal, preparation of the
annual action plan of the Department and other works assigned
by the Principal.
Office Superintendent
The Office Superintendent is in charge of the office affairs.
He is assisted by the Head Accountant and other office staff.
Teacher-in-Charge
For every class there will be one teacher-in-charge nominated
by the Principal on recommendation of the respective Head
of the Department. The Teacher-in-charge is responsible
for class discipline, class attendance, extraordinary leave
and attendance of students, coordinating internal evaluation
activities, consolidating internal marks and preparing the
reports to be sent to the University, supervising co-curricular
activities of the students etc.
