of St. Peter’s College started functioning on 18/08/2003.
100 students of various Departments were enrolled as members.

It has conducted
various Orientation programmes, discussions, competitions
and visits to various industrial centres. Eminent personalities
like Sri.George Mathai Tharakan (M.D. Cashew Development
Co-operation), Sri.C.V.Jacob (M.D. Synthite Ltd), Sri.Joy
P.
Jacob
(M.D. J.J. Confectionaries, Sri.Prasannakumar (G.M. DIC
Ernakulam),Dr.Anju N.Kollamparamb (Principal K.I.E.D), Prof.M.K.Babu
(Rtd.Principal M.A.College Kothamangalam) and others have
interacted with the members and given valuable guidance
for the progress of the Club.
On 12 January 2006, 46 E.D Club members visited “Oravu’
(Indigenous Science and Technology study Centre) a Small
Scale Industry at Thrikkaipettu, Vynadu. |

| In the coming years the club intends to work
more elaborately so that every student of St. Peter’s
who wants to be an entrepreneur could go out from here with
adequate information and confidence. |

2007-2008
Prof.Joy C.George inaugurated the activities of ED Club
for the year. A talk on 'Employment Awareness' was conducted
on 04-10-07. The members of the club attended a three day
Nature Study Camp held in January 2008. The club arranged a
factory visit and all the members were benefited from the
visit to understand recent developments in industrial
scenario. Besides they got an exposure also about the
prospects of new business enterprises in Kerala. |
