BRIEF HISTORY
The department of Physics came into being with the genesis
of St.Peter's college itself. Prof.P.C.David was the founder
head of the Department. The college was upgraded in 1967
offering Under graduate courses in seven disciplines including
physics.

The Department has introduced an Endowment Award in honour
of the late Prof.P.C.David, founder HOD of the Department.
The award is given to topper in B.Sc Physics degree examination
conducting by M.G. University.
