2008-2009

Prof. P.C.Alias, former principal of Baselius College Kottayam  inaugurated the activities of staff club for the year. A seminar Seminar was organised on 25-11-2008 for the members of the staff club on 'Road safety'. Sri.K.M.Jijimal, Circle inspector of police was the chief resource person. A one day picnic was organised on 8-12-2008 with Wagamon as destination. Staff Day was celebrated with variety of entertainments and competitions on 26th January 2009.

2007-2008

Rev.Dr.Thomas John inaugurated the activities of the Staff Club for the year 207-2008 at a function held on 18th August 2007. He delivered a motivational speech on how to handle student community in their adolescent age and how to become a source of inspiration for the students. The Onam was celebrated in a befitting manner on 24.08.2007 with distribution of 'Payasam'. The Christmas was celebrated under the auspices of the Staff Club on  17th December. Former Principal of BPC College Prof. Baby M.Varghese gave the X'mas massage. Under the auspices of the club grant send off was accorded to retiring staff. Staff Club also honoured the Ph.D holders. Club honoured  Smt.Reeja Jose P for her literary achievement as her collection of short stories Ottachemparathi. Club organised a picnic to Athirapilly-Vazhachal waterfall which was a thrilling experience for the participants.

2006 - 2007

1. 
   Orientation programme on ‘Health Education” Dr.Jacob Vadakkancherry was the keynote speaker. Dr.A.U.Arun, Sri.George K Issac and Sri Mathew Jacob participated in the discussions.
   
2. Talk on Value Education was arranged on 23.3.2007. Acharya Catherine Prabhujyothi was the chief resource person.
   
3. Felicitated the Ph.D Awardees and UGC Project winners. Dr.N.K.Mary and Dr.Vimala George (Ph.D Awardees), Dr.M.R.Malathy and Mr.Abraham Mathew ( Dept of Botany) ( UGC Project).
   
4. Farewell to retiring colleagues-Sri.P.P.Elias, Sri. M.P.George, Sri.P.P. Paily, Sri.V.M.Mathewkutty, Sri.K.P.Mathewkurry and Smt P.P.Annam.

2005-2006
The staff club of the college was formally inaugurated by Dr.M.P.Mathai, Director, School of Gandhian Thought and Development Studies, M.G.University, on 19th December. It is a forum of all the members on the teaching and non-teaching staff meant for conducting orientation programmes and providing recreation facilities for them. As the first orientation programme, Sri.K.P.Mathai took a class on “ Kerala Service Rules”, immediately after the inaugural session. The Staff Club besides celebrating Staff Day with a lot of activities conducted the X-mas Day celebrations of the college, Sayanora, farewell function for the members of the staff who retired during the year and a casual “GetTogether” of the staff.

2004-2005
Staff Day was celebrated under the leadership of the staff club on 26th January. The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag. Competitions in arts, sports and games were held for the staff. Variety entertainment programmes were also arranged. This family get together provided a venue for the staff to meet many of the members on the staff who had retired.
