Aksharasree Programme

Aksharasree Programme is a programme intended to promote reading habits among student and faculties of St.Peter’s College and public. Dr. Anat Suman Jose is working as the Coordinator of the this Programme since the year 2016.The cell conducting various Programmes like book exhibitions ,Book Talks, Library Setting up in adopted villages of college and other area such as tribal area, Prisons, Govt. Schools ,Orphanages  etc..  to promote reading habits.

Objectives of Aksharasree Programme

  • Implementation of Effective Methods and some successful programs for Reading
  • Habit Promotion
  • Book reading -based programs/Competitions like Reading Contest, Book Talk, Scrap Book Competition, Poster Making, PowerPoint Presentation Competition ,Quiz Competition etc.
  • Bringing books to public,
  • Promotion of Digital reading.
