ORIENTATION SESSION ON IPR FOR INNOVATIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The Department of Biotechnology and IP Cell of St. Peter’s College, Kolenchery in association with Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre and Institution’s Innovation Council organized an orientation session on “Intellectual Property Rights for Innovative Entrepreneurship” on 22 April 2021 at 2:00 p.m. The orientation session was handled by Dr. G Geethika, Asst. Professor, Political Science Department, UC College, Aluva. The main theme of the session was Intellectual Property Rights which is useful for an entrepreneur to protect technology, brand name, design and creativity behind any business concept. Importance of IPR among entrepreneurs, different categories of IP systems and how IP systems affect innovative entrepreneurship were other topics discussed during the hour.
