Walk With Scholar (WWS)

Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Kerala. This programme aims at imparting personalized

first year UG batch making the total number of students under the scheme 90 during an academic
year. These students are offered enrichment programmes that go beyond the standard curriculum,
providing them with opportunities for deeper exploration of topics, research projects, or advanced
coursework.
The academic performance of these students is continuously monitored through the mentors
provided to them. They are given internal mentoring session by the mentors and are also given
classes of external resource persons on Saturdays or other holidays, from various areas of excellence
chosen by the WWS co-ordinator. Visits to academic institutions of excellence like autonomous
colleges or IITs and NITs are also arranged as part of their experiential learning.
