SETTING UP CFLTC

Volunteers of NSS Unit no 39 became a part of the setting up of Covid First Line Treatment Center, which was reopened at G. U.P. S Kurinji, under the leadership of Poothrikka Grama Panchayath.
It was opened on 22th April 2021 as a necessity, when the second wave of the pandemic intensified and the number of cases being reported in the Panchayath increased. About 15 Volunteers helped the authorities in sanitizing the treatment center. Along with this, the Unit carried out all the necessary tasks including the cleaning activities, proper arrangement of beds etc.
