Celebrating Birthdays Planting Trees

The National Service Scheme Unit 39 of our St Peter’s College, Kolenchery started an initiative to spread the importance of planting trees.

Under this program, our volunteers will plant a sapling on their birthday and will obtain a photo of them doing it. It will then be entered to a poster which contains quotes that promote their act with their photo.

The initiative received great response from everyone. By this initiative, our volunteers planted around 200 trees in 365 days.
