The Zoology department conducted an online orientation session for the new batch of students admitted to first year B.Sc. Zoology. The parents of the first year students were also present in the program. The participants were given detailed information about the faculty and various facilities in the Department. A program named “Into the Horizon” describing all possible career opportunities as a zoologist was also conducted. Ms Reemy Sara Mathai, HOD, Department of Zoology, Mar Thoma College, Perumbavoor was the resource person.

This programme was followed by “Reminiscence” in which the alumni of the Department, Ms Limna Aleena Baby and Helena Jose shared their experiences of learning Zoology at St Peter’s College. A foundation class for using “Moodle”, an advanced learning platform was also given for the students.
