Association Inauguration

The activities of Zoology association for the academic year 2021-2022 was officially inaugurated on 07.03.2022 by Dr. Priyadarsanan Dharma Rajan, Senior Scientist, ATREE, Bangalore. The formal meeting started at 10:00 AM with a prayer song. Ms. Emilo Mary Francis, Secretary, Zoology Association welcomed the gathering. The meeting was presided over by Dr Susha TK, HOD, Department of Zoology. Principal Dr. Shaju Varghese felicitated the event.

“Lighting the lamp” ceremony by the chief guest symbolized the formal inauguration of the Association.  At this time, the chief guest along with the Principal released the newsletter prepared by the students of Zoology Department- ‘Biospectrum ‘.

After keynote address, Dr. Priyadarsanan delivered the lecture entitled “Changing paradigms of Conservation”. Vote of thanks was expressed by Dr. Athira V. Raj, Faculty-in-charge, Zoology Association. Dr Arun A.U. honored the chief guest by presenting a memento. The program ended by 2pm with several cultural programs performed by the students.
