Social Skill Training Programme by Women Cell, St.Peter’s College.

 

 

 

Under the skill development Programmes, Tailoring and Driving classes as well as paper bag making sessions were arranged for the students. Tailoring classes were arranged in association with Usha International Ltd and driving classes were led by Anis driving School, Kolenchery. The inauguration of both the classes were held on 01-11-2022.  A Linkage had also signed between the college and Usha Tailoring school stating the mutual cooperation of KSWDC Women cell, St.Peter’s College and Usha Tailoring school which will be helpful for the students for training as well as practice.

Paper bag making workshop was arranged in association with UBA of the college. The session was arranged on 14-07-2022 and the resource person was Ms.Dhanya Gopinath. She gave a vivid demonstration of paper mag making as well as explained about the marketing strategies so that students would be able to make make and sell the paper bags, pen on a large scale. Many Kudumbasree members from the adopted villages of the college also participated in the session.

Onam stall which is arranged as a part of Onam celebrations is a trademark event of Women cell of St.Peter’s College. Celebrations. This year also there was exhibition cum sale of homegrown and home made items. All the departments actively participated in the event by arranging separate stalls and organizing different competitions related to Onam.
