ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR SCIENCE STUDENTS

PIONERO- The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of St. Peter’s College had organized an orientation class on 23 January from 4 pm to 5pm for Science and Mathematics students. The meeting began with an inspirational speech by Dr. Shaju Varghese, Principal. Alan C George, Chief executive officer and Geon M Thomas, Internal Innovator came up with the idea of a power storage system as a substitute for electrical batteries. The idea of a ‘College App’ which will be useful for teachers, students as well as parents was put forward by Sanu Wilson, Chief Marketing Officer. Also the idea of semi- solar wind fans was mentioned. Alvin John Joby, Internal Innovator, discussed about the idea of Freeland graphic design studio – Creative Owl. Aswin Basil Jacob, Internal Innovator, came up with the ideas on how to manage solid waste.
