MTTM

Master of Tourism & Travel Management is a four-semester long post-graduate programme. The curriculum and the scheme have been specially designed to meet the demanding needs of tourism and allied industries such as Airlines, Hotels, Travel Agencies, Tour Operating companies, Cruise Ships, NGOs and other development bodies. It is a congruous blend of theory and practice, broadening the conceptual and analytical skills of the students, so that trained students can immediately take up positions in Tourism & connected departments both in the private and the public sectors. An active placement cell backed by the Alumni support is functioning in the department to inform and guide the students for a colourful debut in the tourism industry.

Eligibilty:

Candidate seeking admission for MTTM should possess either a Bachelors Degree from Mahatma Gandhi University or a degree recognized as equivalent thereto with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST/OBC and other categories, relaxation in minimum marks for admission and reservation of places will be allowed as per existing norms.

Programme Design:

The MTTM programme is interdisciplinary in nature, inculcating the essentials of business administration. Students are required to undergo practical training in tourism related organizations along with field visits & study tours and thereafter they should submit comprehensive reports as well. They are also required to prepare a Project Work Report towards the end of the programme.
